DISK REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To obtain a disk reproducing device which can house a disk in its main body even when the device is reproducing information from another disk. CONSTITUTION: A disk reproducing device is provided with an opening/closing slide 80 which moves a disk tray 4 between a stocker 74 and disk discharging position and a gear train 6 which moves the tray 4 between the stocker 74 and a loading completing position in the horizontal direction. The reproducing device is also provided with a second sliding body 90 which moves the tray 4 moved to the loading completing position in the vertical direction while the tray 4 is faced to an optical head base 27 and third sliding body 91 which is moved in the vertical direction synchronously to the vertical movement of the tray 4 and, when the tray 4 reaches the optical head base 27, is further slid so as to raise the opening/closing slide 80 and connects the slide 80 to another tray 4 in the stocker 74.
