DETECTING DEVICE OF LIQUID LEVEL IN REGENERATOR OF ABSORPTION TYPE WATER COOLING-HEATING EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To measure accurately the liquid level of a conductive liquid without being affected by electrical noise, by a method wherein the conductive liquid being an object of measurement is made to penetrate into a gap formed between a detecting rod and a tubular body and the tubular body is connected to the ground. CONSTITUTION: A detecting device 2 of a liquid level which detects the position of the liquid level of an absorptive liquid (lithium bromide water solution or the like) A in the main body 1 of a regenerator is fitted to a recessed part 1a for measurement of the main body 1. This detecting device 2 of the liquid level has a capacitance type level gage 13 wherefrom a detecting rod 11 for detecting capacitance is suspended in the main body 1 with a flange part 12 for fitting interposed, and a tubular body 14 connected to the ground 15 is provided so that it covers the outer peripheral surface of the detecting rod 11 with a gap therefrom. In the periphery of the tubular body 14, a plurality of communication holes 14a are provided at prescribed intervals so that the absorptive liquid A can penetrate into the gap between the detecting rod 11 and the tubular body 14, and the capacitance generated in accordance with the height of the liquid level of the conductive liquid can be measured.
