Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain a chemical foaming agent exhibiting excellent fluidity, solidifiability under load and with the elapse of time without affecting its foaming performances such as coarsening of bubbles at the time of foaming and change in bubble dispersing speed by coating the surfaces of a chemical foaming agent with an aluminum-based coupling agent. CONSTITUTION: This modified foaming agent is obtained by coating the surfaces of 100 pts.wt. of a chemical foaming agent such as azodicarbonamide with preferably 0.02 to 5 pts.wt. of an aluminum-based coupling agent such as aluminum isopropylate. The particle diameter of the aforesaid chemical foaming agent is preferably 5 to 30μm.
