FUEL STORAGE RACK REMOVING APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To remove a fuel storage rack easily from an installation base easily by cutting the biting bolts and nuts through electric discharge. CONSTITUTION:An electric discharge machine 6 is inserted into a long tubular body 1a. The electric discharge machine 6 is fixed with an electrode 10 and provided with a motor 7 for driving the electrode 10 up and down. The electrode 10 is shaped optimally for cutting off a bolt if and a nut 4. When the nut 4 bites a foundation bolt 3 for installing a rack, the nut 4 is split and cut off through electric discharge thus separating the nut 4 from the foundation bolt 3. When the bolt 3 bites the installation base 2, the bolt head is fused and separated from the threaded part of the bolt 3 thus removing a fuel storage rack 1 from the installation base 2.
