Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a new safe aminoethylene derivative low in human and livestock toxicity, fish toxicity and toxicity to the natural enemies against insect pests and having an excellent control effect on the insect pests and pathogenic microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [Ar , Ar are each a (substituted) aromatic group, a heterocyclic group; R is H, a group intermediated with a carbon atom, a group intermediated with a sulfur atom; R is a (substituted) alkyl; R is an electron-attracting group). For example, 2-(2,4- dichlorophenyl)-3-(2,6-dichloro-4-trifluoromethylphenylamino)-4,4,4- trifluorocrotononitrile. The compound of formula I is obtained e.g. by reacting a compound of formula II with a compound of the formula: R -hal (R is a group intermediated with a carbon atom) in the presence of a base such as triethylamine in a solvent such as THF.
