POURING DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING

PURPOSE: To provide a pouring device for continuous casting, in which a cast slab uniformly solidified without developing crack, inclusion defect and pin hole can be obtd. and the fault of breakout is not developed. CONSTITUTION: A contracting part 82 is provided at a molten metal introducing part in an immersion nozzle 81. Further, the part of the immersion nozzle 81 from the contracting part 82 to a discharging hole 15 is made to be a flow rate decreasing part 16 having larger flowing passage cross sectional area than that of the contracting part 82. The flowing passage cross sectional area of the contracting part 82 is made to be 50-90% of the flowing passage cross sectional area at the time of fully opening a flow rte control valve. The length of the flowing speed decreasing part 16 is made to be >= three times the inner diameter of the contracting part 82. The shape of the discharging hole 85 is formed so that the hole 15 is widened in the horizontal direction toward the outer part from the inner part of the immersion nozzle.
