Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To produce a detergent without arousing any fear of polluting water, irritating the skin and roughening the hand skin due to the original absence of a substance so as to pollute the environment therein by using only a calcareous ooze produced in the nature as a raw material. CONSTITUTION: A calcareous ooze discharged from the pit of the Seikan Tunnel in Japan such as white mud is dissolved or dispersed in water and the resultant solution or dispersion is electrolyzed through a diaphragm by using an alkaline ion water conditioner, etc., so as to provide 10-12 hydrogen ion index on the cathode side. Thereby, the resultant product on the cathode side is used as a detergent.
