DATA SERIES OPERATION SYSTEM OF GRAPHIC SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To automatically reflect editing operation and display alterations as to one graph element on other graph elements by providing a means which defines the link relation between elements of a graph, a means which stores and manages the information, and a means which makes display alterations of the graph on the basis of the information. CONSTITUTION: This system consists of a central control unit 11, a display management part 13, and a display control unit 15. The display management part 13 consists of a display control data management part 131, a display data generating device 132, and a display state alteration input part 133 which receives display state alterations of graph data from the display control unit 15. The display control data management part 131 stores and manages the link relation between the elements of the graph as a data series, stores and manages the display positions of data in the graph, and stores and manages the correspondence between table data for supplying data to the graph and the graph elements, and then the display data generating device 132 utilizes the information in the process of the generation of graph display data to perform alteration processing for display depending upon the data series of the graph.
