Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a path generation method and device for a mobile object to generate a tool path while avoiding interference regardless of a machining surface shape and also to perform a fast calculation of the tool path. CONSTITUTION: A moving path of a machining tool 10 (mobile object) is extracted by the inclusive spherical bodies S and calculated based on the surfaces of the bodies S not on the spots included in the bodies S. Thus a moving path of a composite plane can be fast calculated. Furthermore, the bodies S including the surface of a metallic mold curved surface 11 are generated, so that the center point of every body S is set on the surface 11. At the same time, the information on the bodies S includes the surface to be moved and the surface information on the mobile object. This path generation method and device is thereby effective for the proper control of versatile positions, attitudes, etc.
