Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To eliminate complex welding work to fix a thrust washer to the front cover of a torque converter, position a lockup clutch disk and a turbine hub in their radial direction in simple structure and manufacturing work and prevent the occurrence of failure during locking up. CONSTITUTION:A ring-like thrust washer 5 intervenes between the internal face of the front cover 3 to be connected to the output shaft 1 of an engine and a side face of the turbine hub 4 which connects a lockup clutch disk 10. The hole section 52 of the thrust washer 5 is fitted to the protruded step section 40 formed in a side face of the turbine hub 4. In addition, the external peripheral surface 51 of the thrust washer 5 is fitted into the recessed step section 30 formed in the internal face of the front cover 3.
