SUBMERBED BEARING FOR FLOCCULATOR

PURPOSE:To eliminate a need for piping equipment through which water is injected between a shaft and an oilless metal and to prevent the occurrence of an overload. CONSTITUTION:A tubular submerged bearing for flocculator comprise an oilless metal 18 surrounding a shaft 11 in which a paddle is fixed to form a slide surface; a bearing 13 with which the oilless metal 18 is surrounded; and oil seals 19 disposed to the two ends of the oilless metal 18 and sealing the slide surface. Further, the submerged bearing comprises a water injection passage formed in such a manner to extend through the bearing 13 and the oilless metal 18; and a filter medium disposed in the water injection passage. In this case, the filter medium filtrates water to be processed in a flock forming pond and injects clarified water between the shaft 11 and the oilless metal 18 through the water injection passage. Thus, a gap between the shaft 11 and the oilless metal 18 is brought into a state to be constantly filled with clarified water and water lubrication is executed.
