Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To reliably and rapidly detect the broken hole of a heat transfer pipe before the hole becomes great by a method wherein a plurality of blocks are formed in a boiler, and a temperature difference between thermometers is detected classified for each block, in a coke dry type quenching equipment to cool coke and generate steam. CONSTITUTION: In coke dry type quenching equipment, water is heated by an economizer 11 and steam is produced by a vaporizer 12, and given temperature steam is produced by primary and secondary superheaters 13 and 14. In this case, a heat transfer pipe 15 is formed into four blocks. At the upper part of each block, a thermometer 16 is attached to an end part on the quenching furnace side, a thermometer 17 in attached, to a central part, and a thermometer 18 to an end part on the opposite side, and a temperature difference between the adjoining thermometer 16-18 is detected. When a broken hole occurs in the heat transfer pipe 15 in the vicinity of or below, for example, the thermometer 16, low temperature steam is injected, whereby a temperature difference is changed. In which case, the degree to the change of the temperature difference and a pattern during the occurrence of a broken hole are inputted to a deciding part. Actual measurements are compared with input valves to judges whether or not a broken hole occurs. |
