BUFFER

PURPOSE: To provide a buffer capable of providing the rough sealability, effectively absorbing the shock in the collision, and realizing the rapid positioning to the prescribed position. CONSTITUTION: A buffer is provided with a column member 5 where an annular projected part 5A is formed on one end, a fitting part 5B is formed on the other end, and a through hole 5C is provided at the center in the axial direction, a glass-shaped flexible member 6 having an annular groove 6A where the annular projecting part 5A of the column member 5 is inserted in the inner circumferential surface of an open end part, a receiving part 7A and a movable member 7 where one end of a rod member 7B is fixed to the center of the receiving part 7A, a resetting spring member 8 which is stored in the glass-shaped flexible member 6 and provided between the receiving part 7A of the movable member 7 and the annular projecting part 5A of the column member 5, a large diameter hole part 9A where the open end part of the glass-shaped flexible member 6 is inserted and a bracket 9 having a small diameter through hole 9B which is formed on the bottom of the large diameter hole part 9A and in which the fitting part 5B of the column member 5 is inserted.
