COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: To make a check valve in a valve chest so as not to cause any chattering by setting up plural discharge passages asymmetrically around an axis of this valve chest. CONSTITUTION: Three discharge passages 5 are radially installed around the axis of a valve chest 11 in a three-way manner, by way of example, and it is interconnected to a discharge chamber 10. In brief, they are installed around the center (axial center) of the valve chest 11 asymmetrically, not equiangular distribution (equation to 120 deg. if in the past) and also point symmetry. Therefore, a gas flow becomes asymmetric, irrespective of discharge flow or backflow, whereby pressure to be loaded on a check valve 3 in the valve chest 11, especially, the moment center of dynamic pressure comes off a center of the check valve 3 in consequence, namely, it comes to be asymmetric, so its access attitude to a valve guard surface 1a is tilted to some extent, and a working point of fluctuation pressure comes off the center of the check valve 3 in relation to the check valve once made contact with the valve guard surface 1a, so that pressure equalization becomes unbalanced, and thereby any chattering will not easily produced.
