Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide the mounting structure of a post and a horizontal beam in a fence easy to be executed. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal beam 2 is fitted to a post 1 through a connecting fitting 3. The top face 31 of the connecting fitting 3 is curved upwards, the end section of the horizontal beam 2 is joined with the top face 31, an underside 32 is curved downwards, and the horizontal beam 2 is fixed by an elliptic joint hole 33. Since the top face 31 of the connecting fitting 3, with which an underside at the end section of the horizontal beam 2 of a fence is brought into contact, is curved upwards, the horizontal beam 2 of the fence and the top face of the connecting fitting 3 are brought into contact when the fence is inclined in the vertical direction and installed, thus improving stability at a time when the fence is fixed onto the connecting fitting 3. Since the underside 32 of the connecting fitting 3 is curved downwards, the bearing surface of a bolt and the underside of the connecting fitting 3 are made approximately parallel while the end section of the bearing surface of the bolt is not brought into contact with the connecting fitting 3 and is easy to be rotated.
