DEVICE FOR SHIFTING IRON TAPPING MAIN IRON TROUGH

PURPOSE: To improve work efficiency and to shorten time by setting a vertical position detecting device in an elevating device of table. CONSTITUTION: An iron tapping main iron trough 1 and a traveling carriage 2 for a blast furnace are traveled onto a table 7 along rails 22 by rotating wheels 4 with a driving motor 3 and stopped at a stopping position. Four sets of uniform speed multistage type hydraulic cylinders 8a, 8b are simultaneously worked in the condition of loading the main iron trough 1 and the carriage 2 on the table 7, and the position synchronous control of the hydraulic cylinders 8a, 8b at the time of descending is performed with a vertical position detecting device and a hydraulic control circuit arranged in the hydraulic cylinders to descend and shift the iron tapping main iron trough and the traveling carriage 2 to a prescribed position. Further, the trough 1 and the carriage 2 descended to the prescribed position are traveled on rails 33 and retreated and retracted to a prescribed trough repairing part by executing a large traveling and shifting movements. By this method, workers are released from the exchanging work under high temp. and dusty environment and the working environment can be improved.
