Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To reduce an amount of lubricating oil leaking through the abutment gap of the seal ring of a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:A ring groove 6 in a rectangular shape in cross section formed in the outer periphery of a shaft body 1 is extended between the turbine rotor of a supercharger and a bearing and a sealing ring 7 is mounted. The seal ring 7 having an abutment 8 is a ring in a rectangular shape in cross section, and a ring outer surface 7a is forced into pressure contact with a housing inner peripheral surface 2a through an own external tension. The abutment 8 of the seal ring 7 is formed in the shape of an oblique abutment at which a pair of abutment end parts are overlapped with each other as seen from an axial direction. The inclination angle of an abutment end face 9 with an axial direction exceeds 0 deg. and is below 60 deg.. The seal ring 7 is mounted in the ring groove 6 in such a manner that an abutment gap extends in a reverse direction to a rotation direction from the inside in an axial direction to the outside.
