INK SUPPLY DEVICE IN PRINTER

PURPOSE: To rapidly spread the ink supplied to an ink sump part on the entire surface of an ink supply roller and to realize printing free from density irregularity by supporting a rod-shaped member coming into contact with the ink supply roller and extending along the bus thereof between side plates in a rotatable manner on the upstream side of the ink sump part. CONSTITUTION: A rod-shaped member 18 is provided along the bus of the ink supply roller 4 of a screen printing machine to be supported in a freely rotatable manner between side plates 3 by a support shaft 19 through bearings 23. The support shaft 19 is inserted in the vertical slots 20 provided to the side plates 3 and energized downward by the compression coil spring 21 arranged on the upper side thereof to bring the rod-shaped member 18 into contact with the ink supply roller 4. At a time of the supply of ink, ink is allowed to drip on the rod-shaped member 18 from the holes 15... provided to an ink supply tube 22 and pressed at the contact area with the ink supply roller 4 accompanied by the rotation of the rod-shaped member 18 to be spread in an almost uniform state and supplied to an ink sump part 14.
