ENDOSCOPE, FIBER ASSEMBLY THEREFOR AND THEIR MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To provide an endoscope, a fiber assembly for the endoscope and their manufacturing methods which is capable of easily manufacturing without being affected by the outer diameter accuracy and roundness of an image fiber bundle and limited in defective even in a fine outer diameter of about 10mm. CONSTITUTION: In an endoscope 20, an objective lens 23 is fixed at the tip part of a hard tube 22, the tip part of an image fiber bundle 24 having a plurality of image fibers integrated is fixed at a base end part thereof, a light guide fiber bundle 25 is arranged outside the image fiber bundle 24 and the outsides of the light guide fiber bundle 25, the hard tube 22 and the image fiber bundle 24 are covered with a flexible sheath 26. A slit is formed at the base end part of the hard tube 22 as being extended to the tip from the base end thereof, thereby the base end part of the hard tube 22 is expanded.
