Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To develop a method for cuttage and improve the efficiency of afforestation in Eucalyptus globulus used as pulp wood. CONSTITUTION: Branches and leaves or regenerated spouts of Eucalyptus globulus grown in the current year are collected to prepare a scion, which is then inserted into a water culture medium and cultured. A scion site of the third to the seventh nodes from the tip of the ear is used as the scion and a water culture medium prepared by mixing a silicate clay in an amount of 50-5 pts.wt. based on water so as to provide >=50wt.% silicon dioxide in the silicate clay is used.
