VIDEO PROCESSOR

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of editing operation or the like by providing this video processor with an external storage means for recording correspondence information indicating correspondence relation with an operation key and an I/O means for reading out/writing the correspondence information from/in the external storage means. CONSTITUTION: On an operation panel 20, the function items of a video processing function are displayed on the screen of a display device 4. When an operator selects one of the displayed function items and depresses an operation key 6, a command signal corresponding to the selected item is inputted to the video processor. When a selection key is depressed, a picture for displaying the function items and a picture for changing correspondence information are selectively switched and displayed on the device 4. In a slot-shaped I/O means, a memory card 22 can be attachably/detachably connected to an I/O device 23. Thus the video processor displays function items on the device 4 based upon correspondence information read out from the memory card 22 and allocates the video function item to the key 6.
