Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound useful as a plant blight controlling agent, especially a microbicide for agricultural and horticultural use. CONSTITUTION: This 1,2,4-triazine derivative is expressed by formula I (R is H, a 1-12C alkyl or a 6-10C aryl; R is H, a 1-12C alkyl, a 7-8C aralkyl, a 3-8C cycloalkyl, etc.; R is H, a 1-12C alkyl, a 4-5C lactonyl, a 2-8C alkenyl, etc.; (n) is 2-6), e.g. 6-(1-cyclohexenyl)-3-mercapto-4-methyl-4, 5-dihydro-1, 2,4- triazin-5-one. The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting a 1,2,4- triazine derivative of formula II (R is a 1-12C alkyl, a 7-8C aralkyl, a 2-8C alkenyl, etc.) with an alkylation agent of formula, R -Y (R is a 1-12C alkyl, a 7-8C aralkyl, a 3-8C cycloalkyl, etc.; Y is an eliminable group) (e.g. allyl bromide) in the presence of a base. The compound exhibits excellent controlling effect on plant blights such as downy mildew, late blight and powdery mildew of plants.
