Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide an abnormality detector for a power supply system which detects the abnormality of the contact inserted between load and a power supply line. CONSTITUTION: If an overcurrent flows to, for example, load 1-2 and a thermosensor 5b-2 senses overheating, a contact 5d-2 opens, and an electromagnetic coil 5c-2 is deenergized to open the contact 5a-2, and the power supply to the load 1-2 is stopped. A controller 14 finds out the amount of decrease of supplied power accompanying the opening of this contact 5a-2, based on the supplied power after opening, and compares the amount of increase of the supplied power accompanying the closing of this contact 5a-2 with the amount of decrease of the supplied power accompanying the opening of this contact 5a-2, and judges whether this contact 5a-2 has fused together by heat or not.
