DISPLAY DEVICE FOR FIRE ALARM FACILITIES AND FIRE ALARM FACILITIES

PURPOSE: To simplify an operation for reading respective code data by storing the first table of fixed character code data and the second table of individual character code data in one storage area. CONSTITUTION: When a transmitted signal from a fire receiver RE is a responding instruction, a response signal is sent out. When the received transmitted signal is a display instruction, fixed character code data and individual character code data corresponding to its display address are read out of a RAM 23. Namely, when the display address in the display instruction concerns fixed characters, the relevant fixed character code data are read out while referring to the first table in a fixed character area 232 and when the display address in the display instruction concerns individual characters, the relevant individual character code data are read out while referring to the second table in an individual character area 233. Then, the read character code data are converted to pattern data by a signal processing circuit 28 and characters based on these data are displayed on an LCD 26.
