FIRE ALARM FACILITIES

PURPOSE: To prevent the display of a following fire display from being disabled by transmitting pattern data together with a display instruction while using a fire receiver, and displaying the characters of fire information on each fire display while using the pattern data. CONSTITUTION: A fire receiver RE transmits the pattern data, for which character code data are converted, from a transmission/reception circuit TRX 2 to a signal line LR for fire display as a transmissive signal together with the address of the fire display. Each fire display R1 responds to this transmitted signal and directly sends the received pattern data to an LCD 26, and characters or graphics corresponding to those pattern data are displayed on the LCD 26. At the fire display R1, a display address is not ordinarily used between the received display address and pattern data. When an EEPROM 25 storing a data base for display is provided at the fire display R1, however, display is performed based on the display address without using any pattern data.
