ENGINE-DRIVEN HYDRAULICALLY-OPERATED GRAB BUCKET PROVIDED WITH TUMBLE PROTECTING FUNCTION

PURPOSE: To operate a grab bucket continued by surely preventing improper lubrication and oil pressure decrease in an engine, even when the grab bucket is largely tumbled or tilted. CONSTITUTION: A device is formed by mounting an engine 40 of driving an oil hydraulic pump of actuating an opening/closing hydraulic cylinder of a bucket part 20 in a main unit 10 of a grab bucket 1 openably/closably journalled to the bucket part 20, to mount a deep suboil tank 42 opened to be connected to a lower part in an oil pan of the engine 40, and an oil suction pipe, suspended to extend to a bottom part of the tank 42 from inside the oil pan to mount an oil suction port filter in the bottom end, is provided in the inside of the suboil tank 42. By mounting the deep suboil tank 42 in a lower part of the oil pan 41, the center of gravity of the grab bucket 1 is positioned further lower in the grab bucket 1, by this amount to increase stability of the grab bucket 1, and action of tilting or impeding a tilt can be increased.
