VEHICULAR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: To reduce the size of air-conditioning device and ventilation resistance with the temperature distribution to keep the head cool and the feet warm maintained. CONSTITUTION: A face blowing-off air taking-out opening 236 is disposed at a hot air passage 234 on the downstream side of a heat core 230, and the foot blowing-off air taking-out opening 238 is disposed at a cold air passage 233 which bypasses the heat core 230. An air guide plate which guides hot air from the hot air passage 234 to the foot blowing-off air taking-out opening 238 is fitted at a foot blowing-off door 238a which opens and closes the foot blowing- off air taking-out opening 238. An opening which guides cool air from the cold air passage opening 233 to the face blowing-off air taking-out opening 236 is opened at the foot blowing-off door 238a. Thus, the cold air and hot air are made to cross each other by the foot blowing-off door 238a, guiding them to the desired direction.
