Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To discriminate mis-connection depending on whether a transmission wave is a modulated wave or a non-modulation wave. CONSTITUTION: A modulation panel 11 modulates a carrier signal depending on the received data (e.g. 4-PSK modulation), a transmission circuit 21 converts an output signal from the modulation panel 11 into a signal with a radio frequency and sends the resulting signal, an ALC circuit 22 detects an output of a transmission section and controls an output signal level of a transmission section to be constant on a detection voltage level. A modulation non-modulation detection section 23 uses a clock signal component of input data included in the detection output to detect whether the transmission signal is a modulated wave or a non-modulation wave and provides an output of an alarm in the case of non-modulation wave. That is, in case of the modulation wave, it is discriminated that a modulation panel output terminal is correctly connected to a transmission panel input terminal and in the case of non-modulation wave, it is discriminated that the modulation panel output terminal is not connected to the transmission panel input terminal (mis-connection).
