ELECTRON GUN STRUCTURE, AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To perform the alignment of a heater to a heater support and the welding with accuracy though it is simple work. CONSTITUTION: This is the manufacture of an electron gun structure equipped with a heater 1 consisting of a high-resistance line material and a heater support 2 supporting this heater 1 by welding and doubling as a conductor for impression of voltage to the heater 1. For the heater support 2, each extension piece 2A and 2B extended at a right angle each to the support 2 is placed to face each other, and the extension pieces 2A and 2B are constituted as heater welding parts. This manufacture includes the first process of arranging the heater 1 within the plane parallel with the face including the support 2, and besides, bringing each part to be welded of that heater 1 into contact with the opposite inner side faces of the extension pieces 2A and 2B, and the second process of performing the welding for the extensions 2A and 2B of the parts to be welded of the heater 1 by applying laser beams from outside of each external side face of the extension piece 2A and 2B.
