CARD READ/WRITE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card read/write method capable of reading/writing the card of the two kinds of chips different from each other by one reader-writer. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a step for checking whether or at the card is inserted, executing a routine for reading the card when the card is inserted and activating a connection terminal or the like, the step for providing reset signals to the card through the activated connection terminal and then standing by for prescribed time so as to receive reset response signals from the card, the step for checking the reset response signals from the card, the step for executing the information exchange of a first card system and then inactivating the connection terminal or the like of the card when the reset response signals are received and the step for executing the information exchange of a second card system and then inactivating the connection terminal or the like of the card when the reset response signals are not received.
