SOLUTION: A kit for the manufacture of a processing solution used in the manufacture of a planographic printing plate following silver salt diffusion transfer processing contains all active compounds necessary for the manufacture of the processing solution. The active compound contains solid hydrogensulfite/ amine complex or solid sulfur dioxide/amine complex, and amine in the complex can act as a silver halide solvent.
