Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective system which operates practically in real time to control the original position of a color printer or a copying machine. SOLUTION: A color control system is provided with a color filter device 106 for generating a first plurality of light signals for filtering a plurality of attenuated light signals and using them with an optical sensor device having an optical sensor device 102 for generating a plurality of feedback signals in response to a plurality of incidence light signals 152 and a light attenuation device 104 for generating a plurality of attenuated light signals by attenuating light reflected from a printed color patch. It is also provided with a plurality of signal lines for transmitting a plurality of feedback signals from a color control system.
