HETERO RING-CONTAINING INSECTICIDE

PURPOSE: To obtain a novel heterocyclic ring-containing insecticide, which is useful as an agrochemical, particularly as an insecticide and which has excellent insecticidal activity with no pyridylmethyl or thiazolymethyl group as the active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: A (tetrahydro-3-furanylmethyl)amine derivative of formula I [X1 -X9 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl; R1 is H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 2-6C alkoxyalkyl; R2 , R3 are each H, a 1-5C alkyl, a 1-5C alkoxy, a 1-5C alkinyl; Y is an electron- attractive group; R is H, 1-6C alkyl; Z is a group of the formula: -S(O)n R5 (R5 is a 1-8C alkyl, a 6-12C aryl; n is an integer of 0-2)], for example, for example, 1-(tetrahydro-3-furanyl)methylamino-1- methylamino-3-(ethoxycarbonylmethylthio)-2-nitropropene, is prepared, for example, by reaction between a compound of formula II, a compound of the formula: R4 -CHO and a compound of the formula: R5 -SH.
