SATELLITE BROADCAST RECEPTION SYSTEM FOR DECODER BUILT-IN DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a reception system with excellent operability through simple connection by incorporating a decoder in a device incorporating a satellite broadcast receiver and providing an intermediate data signal changeover circuit and a clock signal changeover circuit to use the decoder in common with other device incorporating satellite broadcast receiver. CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 78 of a satellite broadcast receiver built-in device 20 incorporating a descrambling decoder 43 receives a discrimination signal representing a scramble broadcast or a non-scramble broadcast from PCM demodulator circuits 29, 65 and a selection signal from a video signal changeover circuit 23 for terminal selection. Then a tuner 21, a detection signal changeover circuit 26, PCM demodulation circuits 29, 65, a clock signal changeover circuit 36, an intermediate data signal changeover circuit 39, an audio signal changeover circuit 48, and a video signal changeover circuit 23 are controlled and automatically selected in the case of the tuner 21 of the device 20 receiving scramble broadcast and of a tuner 56 of other satellite broadcast receiver built-in device 55 receiving non-scramble broadcast or vice versa.
