CONSTITUTION: On the inside of a side panel 1 forming the housing of a main body, a circuit board 109 including a power source is provided. Contact parts 191 and 192, each incorporating a coil, are formed on the circuit board 190. Inside the housing of the main body, a storing frame 100, and a developing unit 120 is placed on the frame 100. Contact parts 121 and 122, each incorporating a coil connected to a toner concentration sensor, are formed on the developing unit 120, and when the flame 100 is positioned into its mounting place in the housing of the main body, the contact parts 191 and 192 are made to face the contact parts 121 and 122, and thus power is supplied to the developing unit 120 from the housing of the main body by electromagnetic induction. |
