Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a water purifier by which the purified water fitered by a filtration means is kept clean. CONSTITUTION: This water purifier 1 has first to third water purifying tanks 2 to 4, a casing, a water storage tank 29 set in the casing and a discharge pipe 7. When a microswitch is turned on by opening a lever switch 12, an intake pump 36 is started by a control circuit 44, and the water in the tank 29 is supplied and discharged from the pipe 7. Meanwhile, a control program is registered in the control circuit 44 to open the solenoid valve 27 of a pipeline 24 communicating with the tank 4 when the water filtered by the tank 4 is not used for a specified time (3hr in this example) to prevent the propagation of bacteria, to supply the water in the tanks 3 and 4 and pipelines 24, 28 and 35 to the tank 29 and to forcedly generate water.
