Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow as many fixing methods as possible to be used without any reforming work by providing screw tightening container grooves extending along side surfaces and being opened at both ends at the side surfaces in the intermediate region of a housing having a square cross section. SOLUTION: A housing 1 of a safety switch comprises an intermediate portion 2; a cap-like cover 4 connected to the intermediate portion 2 via a fixing screw 3; and a cap 5 connected to the intermediate portion 2 via a snap-connection. The cross section of the housing 1 in the longitudinal direction is square. The intermediate portion 2 is provided, at respective side surfaces in the intermediate region on a lateral plane, with container grooves 6, 6a for fixing screws to a wall or the like extending along the side surface and being opened at both terminal ends. Consequently, it is possible to cope with many fixing methods without any reforming work together with introducing orifices 8, 8 in the lateral direction and at the terminal ends, according to the introducing direction of an actuator actuating a switch. |
