(A) 55-87 wt.% uretdione, (B) 10-30 wt.% blocking agent, (C) 3-10 wt.% polyol with more than two OH gps. and/or chain extender with more than two OH gps. Also claimed is (i) a process for the prodn. of (I), by (1) partial reaction of the NCO gps. in the uretdione (A) with the calculated amt. of (B), followed by (2) partial or complete reaction of the remaining NCO gps. with (C); (ii) transparent or pigmented polyurethane (PU) coating powders contg. cpds. (I), OH gp.-contg. polymers (II) and the usual additives etc.
