PUNCHING DEVICE HAVING PUNCHING CHIP DISCHARGING DEVICE AND ITS PUNCHING METHOD

PURPOSE: To completely separate punching chips and a punched product from each other. CONSTITUTION: A punching device is composed of a punching die 26 where the edge tip 24 of a cylindrical punching edge 22 is projected to a surface and is fixed by penetrating from a back face and an elastic plate 28 is stuck to the surface, a stand 32 which supports the punching die from the back face and has a punching chip discharging duct 34 inside and a punching chip discharging device where an intake hole 36 is arranged on one end and an exhaust hole 38 is arranged on the other end and a punching chip discharging hole 40 is arranged so as to communicate with the punching edge lower end fixed to the punching die. When a material on which cardboard 44 is placed is sandwiched and compressed between the punching die and a platen, punching chips are pressed down by the simultaneously punched cardboard, and is pushed in the punching edge, but since the lower end of the punching edge is communicated with the punching chip discharging duct by the punching chip discharging hole, the punching chips drop in the punching chip discharging duct, and when air in the punching chip discharging duct is exhausted from the exhaust hole, the punching chips can be discharged together with the air.
