SHEET MATERIAL CUTTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To enlarge an effective cutting width, and reduce the whole width by connecting a fixed edge and a movable edge to each other through different- shaped links whose one or both arranged on these both ends have a recessed part. CONSTITUTION: A guide part 12 to which bending is applied is arranged in an end part on the driving side 4 of a movable edge 1 having the edge tip 11 in a lower part, and a support shaft pin 13 pivoted by a hole of a thin plate- like and elastic driving side link 41 is protrusively arranged in its tip part. A spacer 42 protrusively arranged in the end part on the driving side 4 of a fixed edge 2 which cooperates with this movable edge 1 and has the edge tip 21 in an upper part, is pivoted by another hole of the driving side link 41. On the other hand, the driven side 3 of a cutting device rotatably connects the movable edge 1 through a spacer 32 and a compression spring 33, and also through a collar 34 to a frame 22 of the fixed edge 2 by an L-shaped driven side link 31 having a recessed part, and a crank pin 45 is fitted in an oblong hole 43 of the driving side link 41, and cutting is performed by moving the movable edge 1 through the driving side link 41 by rotation of a crank 44.
