Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To manufacture a cold rolled stainless steel strip with excellent surface gloss. CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of a stainless steel strip with high gloss, after pickling the stainless steel strip and before rolling it by a cold tandem mill, preliminary treatment rolling is performed with no lubrication or by applying liquid lubricant of 1μm thickness or below on the surface of a work roll with 5%-30% draft. In a cold tandem mill, rolling is performed by using work rolls made of WC alloy in at least a first stand and/or a final stand.
