CULTURE SKIN AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide culture skin capable of smoothly supplying a sufficient nutrient component to the cultured and propagated epidermic cells and/or fibroblasts without the drop and departure of the cells and discharging the leaching liquid from an applied part, smoothly discharging exudation liquid from an application part and simultaneously suppressing the shrinkage thereof at the time of dissemination to a collagen base material. CONSTITUTION: This culture skin is formed by providing the collagen base material with through holes. Then, the culture skin is thus provided with the through holes prior to application of the culture skin on a wound surface by using a means which does not require a pretreatment intended to prevent the drop and departure of the cells generated at the time of dissemination of the cells. As a result, the nutrient supply from the applied wound surface to the culture cell and the discharge of the exudation liquid stored in the applied part are smoothly executed and simultaneously the shrinkage rate is lowered.
