NETWORK MONITORING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To prevent the continuity of monitor from being interrupted by setting up monitor paths between each monitor terminal and plural monitoring center so that the terminal always recognizes the operation states of the plural monitoring centers. CONSTITUTION: Each of monitoring centers A, B is provided with a 1st monitor path setting means 1 for setting up a communication path between the center itself and a monitor terminal and a 1st operation state informing means 2. Each monitor terminal is provided with a 2nd monitor path setting means 3 for setting up communication paths between the centers A, B and the terminal itself and a 1st operation state receiving means 4 for receiving operation state information informed from the centers A, B. The means 3 in each monitor terminal executes operation for setting up communication paths to respective monitor path setting means 1 in the centers A, B. After setting up the communication paths, the means 4 in each monitor terminal receives operation state information sent from respective means 2 in the centers A, B and recognizes the operation states of the centers A, B.
