MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF FAUCET AND WASHER

PURPOSE: To prevent a washer from falling in mounting a faucet, have superior workability, eliminate the faucet from rotating even when rotational force is applied on the faucet, prevent any stress applying on a supply pipe for cold and hot water supply, and improve durability. CONSTITUTION: A screw shaft 52 and a projecting part 54 in the bottom of a hot/cold water combined-use faucet 40 are inserted into a faucet installation hole 12 of a counter 10 and a nut 66 is tightened via a washer 62. Tapered faces 68, 70 are engaged with each other so that the washer 62 is pressed against the projecting part 54 and at the same time the faucet 40 is fixed to the counter 10. A washer falling prevention piece 72 provided in the arm part of the washer 62 abuts on the projecting part 54 so that the washer is prevented from falling from the screw shaft 52 in a faucet mounting work.
