AUTOMATIC SELECTION CONTROL SYSTEM FOR EMITTED RADIO WAVE FREQUENCY AT RADIO BASE STATION

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of a centralized managing means and to select a frequency to be used in a short time by selecting a frequency stored at a search start point as the frequency of a radio wave able to be emitted from a radio base station. CONSTITUTION:A processor 4 selects the position of an index number in a peripheral search frequency information table 2 corresponding to the real number of lower two digits, for example, of a number 1 for base station solid identification stored in a storage device 5 as the frequency search start point and calculates search start delay time from the real number of lower two digits. Then, this search start delay time is set to a timer 6. When the counting up of the timer is detected, radio frequencies stored in the peripheral search frequency information table 2 are successively searched from the frequency search start point and in order to detect whether or not the radio frequency corresponding to that frequency search start point is used at peripheral radio base stations, electric field information is measured by a receiver 3 for frequency search first. When it is discriminated that the radio frequency is not used based on the measured result, the processor 4 decides the use of that searched radio frequency.
