SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL AND ITS PACKAGING METHOD

PURPOSE: To allow a bright room loading and prevent a photosensitive material having image reproducibility with sharp contrast and high quality from losing these performances in the reservation with the lapse of time. CONSTITUTION: A prescribed silver halide photographic sensitive material is wound in a rolled state on a cylindrical core member. Both side end parts of the core member are covered with closely fitted light shielding flanges 7, and the outer circumference of the photosensitive material is covered with a light shielding leader member 3. When the winding of the leader member 3 has ended, the terminal part of the leader member 3 is fixed onto the photosensitive material with an adhesive sheet 6. Thus, a roll-shaped photosensitive material packaged body is provided. No light is leaked from the space between the leader member 3 and the flange part 7, and even when the packaged body is put on a flat surface, the protruded part of the flange part 7 is fallen down so that the photosensitive material is floated from the surface, and no local excessive force is added to the flange part 7 or the first thermoplastic resin film member 4 of the leader member 3.
