Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a lens meter by which the cylindrical axis of a lens to be worked can be made to coincide with a prescribed astigmatic axial angle even if a numeric value of a scale is not read. CONSTITUTION: In a lens meter provided with a lens meter 1 to measure an optical characteristic of a lens L to be worked placed on a lens receiving stand 13 and a point marking means to mark a point on the lens L to be worked, the lens meter is provided with prescribed data input means 11 and 12 to input prescribed data and a monitor TV 15 to display the astigmatic axis X on the basis of prescribed data and the cylindrical axis X' of the lens to be worked on the basis of the optical characteristic.
