BRANCH PIPE JOINT

PURPOSE: To provide the branch pipe joint which can simply fasten and fix a rotating member, and also facilitate loosing operations as required. CONSTITUTION: In the branch pipe joint 10 connecting a branch pipe with a main pipe, the branch pipe joint 10 is so constituted that the connecting section 11 of the branch pipe is provided for its upper end section, an end peripheral section 12b to be inserted into the opening hole of the main pipe is provided for its lower end section, a short pipe 12 provided with a socket 11a at halfway, a rotating member 14 below the socket 11a, and a circular packing at the end peripheral section are provided, and cam slopes 12a and 14a are also provided for the socket 11a or the rotating member 14. Key grooves 12c and 14b are provided for the side wall of the short pipe 12 and the inner circumferential surface of the rotating member 14, the key grooves 12c and 14b are combined with each other so as to allow a lock key to be fitted therein, and the rotating member 14 is thereby fixed in rotation.
