Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To improve the performance of a fire door simply by a method wherein a recessed section is formed to the contacting sections of the door and a frame body, a foamed raw material, from which a foamed flame-retardant body is formed, is held, and foamed at the time of the generation of a fire and a clearance between the door and the frame body is closed. CONSTITUTION: A holding recessed section 4 is formed to either opposed peripheral wall surface of a door body 3 and a door frame 2 consisting of a fire-proofing material such as a steel plate, and a foamed raw material 1, from which a foamed flame-retardant body is formed, is held into the recessed section 4 by quantity sufficient for a plurality of foaming. The foamed raw material 1 is heated and foamed at the time of a fire, and the foamed flame-retardant body closes a clearance between the door frame 2 and the door body 3, thus preventing the transmission of smoke and a flame from the clearance. A fitting 5 such as a hinge, a damper or the like is coated with the foamed raw material 1 to previously shape a coating layer, thus preventing heat transfer, then obviating defective operation due to thermal deformation. Accordingly, the fireproof performance of a fire door can be improved by simple structure.
