HAIR TONIC

PURPOSE: To obtain a hair tonic having excellent preventing effect on falling off of hair and promoting effect on hair production, comprising an extract of a plant for a crude medicine from Indonesia as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION: This hair tonic contains 0.005-20wt.% of one or more selected from Orange aring derived from Eclipta alba L. of the family Asteraceae, Srigading derived from Nyctanthes arbor-tristis L. of the family Oleaceae, Jangkang derived from Sterculia foetida L of the family Sterculiaceae, Lempyang derived from Zingiber aromaticum Mal. of the family Zingiberaceae, Meniran derived from Phyllanthuss niruri L. of the family Euphorbiaceae, Mrico bolong derived from Melaleuca Leucadindra of the family Myrtaceae and Temu kunei derived from Boesenbergia pandurata of the family Zingiberaceae as an active ingredient. The plant is extracted with a solvent (e.g. methanol). The hair tonic is percutaneously administered by direct application or spraying to skin. Adose is 0.01-100mg/kg/day.
